A wellness spa, Le Spa from Taiwan has opened along the vibrant streets Gemmil Lane, near Telok Ayer mrt station. Perfect for city dwellers!
The setting of the spa clearly showcases its oriental modern concept, with dusky gold walls and mahogany/brown bed linens/towels. I was happy that the place was clean and hygenic, my number one criteria when visiting spas.
Below are the body massages services:
- Le Urban Fushion (LUF) *combination of deep tissue massage and balinese massage, great for sore muscles
- Le Royal Balinese *balinese style massage, medium strength
- Le Classic Swedish Retreats *great for those who prefer the lighter touch of swedish style massage.
- Le Imperial Indulgence (Twin therapy) *this service enables 2 therapists to be massaging you at the same time, must be luxurious!
As I personally love very strong massage to loosen the knots in my tired muscles, so I chosed the Le Urban Fushion (LUF) 90mins massage session.
I probably cannot really use my threshold for the average as most people will probably scream in agony for what I call strong enough for me massage :P With this in mind, I will say that Le Spa provides a massage that many will find very relaxing and comforting, getting rid of your sore aches.
Majority of their therapists may not speak English as their native language, so feel free to inform the receptionist or communicate with the therapist prior to starting the massage session to get the best benefits.
At Le Spa, a wide wide range of other inhouse therapies and massages are also available, including body massages, foot massage, spa scrubs, guasha treatment, and cupping etc. Le Spa is also having a special opening promotion at $38 for a 45mins body massage. Time to give yourself that well deserved relaxing spa session!
Thank you Le Spa for the invitation and the wonderful pampering body massage session.
