My name is Shirley

Most people would know me as
Little Miss Bento.

An award-winning bento artist, upcoming cookbook author and blogger based in Singapore. I am also the first certified Singaporean instructor with the Japan Sushi Instructors’ Association and a bento specialist for Bento&co. My bento journey started since 2011, and in 2012 my (old) blog was borned. I then rebrand myself on all my social media platforms and this blog, was created. My bento creations have been featured in numerous local and international media as well as won top awards in contests both in Singapore and on international platform.

Bento, cooking and food are things I enjoy very much. My head is often bursting with ideas on what to cook. Character bentos are my strength but I also love making traditional bento, japanese food, breads, tarts and sweets.

I am a huge fan of Japanese culture and anything kawaii. I also learnt the language for about 2 years. Often on the lookout for J-related news and other lifestyle stories for my readers.

My very own bento cookbook will also be launched later this year, check here for updates!

If you also like kawaii and Japanese stuff, I am sure you will enjoy my blog postings.
I will continue to do my best and thanks for staying with me.
