In my recent trip, one of the must-visit must-do on my list was to go to the Asakusa Magewappa Store by master craftsman Yoshinobu Shibata and his son Masahisa Shibata.
If you are looking for the highest quality magewappa (bent wood) bento boxes, this is the place to go.
The workmanship and finishing of their bento boxes are impeccable! Even touching the bento boxes gave me the goose bumps! :P
The prices are steep but worth every cent!
I got myself a lacquered magewappa bento box – my favorite magewappa bento box now (also the most expensive I now own).
In fact, I wanted to buy some other bento boxes there but they were sold out! Magewappa bento boxes probably have a strong following in Japan.
If you are a bento fanatic like me, this should be on your must-visit list if you are in Asakusa :D Even if you do not intend to buy, it is really awesome just to check out their store.
Their website link is below, but note that it is in Japanese.

それで日本旅行中今回浅草店はやっと訪問できました!柴田慶信商店・浅草店で買いました。(http://magewappa.com/)
最高品質の曲げわっぱ(曲がった木材)いっぱいです!みなさんもぜひ訪れてみてください。
