Little Miss Bento

皆さん、☆アロハ～♪　今回アロハリラックマのキャラベンを作りました。キャラベンのおかず：辛い海老炒め、エンドウ、スクランブルエッグ、油揚げ、キュウリ、ミックスベジタブル、栗甘露煮。

キャラクターの部分
アロハリラックマ　（飯、醤油、海苔、ウインナー）
サングラス　（海苔、薄焼き、チーズ）
飲み物（赤ウインナー、薄焼き卵、パスタ）
ココヤシの木　（油揚げ、エンドウ）

リラックマのアロハなぬいぐるみが日本でしばらく前に発売でした。とてもかわいかったです。バカンスを楽しんでいるかのようなリラックマたちがとってもキュートですね♪　なんだかハワイに行きたくなっちゃう…☆

Aloha～♪ everyone ;) Today I made Aloha Rilakkuma Bento! 

The side dishes for this hawaii theme kyaraben were spicy sauteed prawns, scrambled eggs, sweet peas, fried tofu skin, cucumber, mixed vegetables, sweetened chestnuts. 

The ingredients for the character were:
Aloha Rilakkuma (rice, soy sauce, seaweed, sausage)
Sunglasses (thin egg sheet, seaweed, cheese)
Drink (red sausage, thin egg sheet, fried pasta stick)
Coconut tree (sweet peas, fried tofu skin)

This Aloho Rilakkuma bento is inspired by the super cute Aloha Rilakkuma goods that San-X released a while ago in Japan. Been seeing the cute plushies and stationary goods in Kinokuniya and NBC stationary stores here in Singapore.

ようじや竹串の先端で皮に字や絵を書きます。あまり力を入れすぎずに表面だけに描くのがポイント。時間後には、バナナっていたんだ部分がすぐに変色しますよね。楽しかったですよ。

Added some banana art fun to my bento. These small bananas is for snacking :P hehe. I simply used a toothpick and draw the Aloha text, Aloha Rilakkuma and Aloha Kiioitori characters on the bananas. 

The trick is not to draw with too much force. Over time, the part of the skin that has been ‘damaged’ would turn dark. :)
