Bambi Bento

Deer Seaweed Cutting Bento (1)
I wanted to make a seaweed cutting bento again this week. Here is another Walt Disney character – Bambi!

While Bambi did not have much appearances on television screens when I was a kid, it left an impression in me because it was so dainty and pretty! I love pretty things :)

The side dishes were similar to my recent bento as I was trying to finish up the produce in my fridge so that I could stock up on new fresh produce. They included blanched broccolin, blanched french beans, lettuce, spicy lotus root with mushrooms and carrot, shrimp and edamame croquette.

I probably won’t have time to make another seaweed cutting bento this week, so I hope you like this Bambi bento creation!

I took more photos of the steps in making the seaweed cutting and coloring the oblate sheet, please take a look :)

So many people have been asking me how to buy the edible sheets, called Oblate that I have mentioned. Here is the link. So far I have found it on amazon Japan :) Hope this will be useful! Please also help me click on the ranking vote button above too!
