Christmas Wreath Kitty Sushi Art Roll クリスマスリースの飾り巻き寿司

I had so much sushi rice, hanpen and ebiko left from yesterday’s class that I decided to make myself a sushi art roll bento today. 
*hanpen is a type of japanese fishcake, it is white and smooth, pretty useful for bento-making. 

Still in the festive mood, I made a Christmas wreath sushi art roll today. At the centre I added a small Hello Kitty made from hanpen.The ribbon for the wreath is a little slanted :P Oops hahah, forgot to check that before rolling the sushi.

昨日飾り巻き寿司を教えてから、残り物はたくさんだったんです。酢飯、海老っことはんぺんですよ。

それで、今朝飾り巻き寿司を作りました。今度クリスマスリースの飾り巻き寿司ですよ！キティーちゃんを追加しました。

The side dishes were steamed prawns, lettuce, cucumber, grilled eel, holland peas, small mandarin orange and strawberries. 

For the sushi, these were the ingredients:
- Red Ribbon and deco balls in the sushi roll (sushi rice with ebiko)
- Christmas wreath roll (sushi rice with edamame beans for the outer ring, sushi rice with sakura denbu for the inner circle)
- Stars (usuyaki tamago)

For Hello Kitty, here are the ingredients:
- Hanpen ‘face’
- Seaweed ‘eyes & whiskers’
- Green egg sheet and arare ‘mistletoe’
- Egg sheet ‘nose’
