Since CNY is just around the corner, some of you might be planning a hair makeover? I wanted to share with you my favourite hairdresser from Niu Niu Hair Shop.
Nope she is not Japanese, but a Singaporean, called Vivian who does wonders for my hair.
In fact I know of so many friends who also visited her and ended up staying with her as regulars.
I believe finding the right hairdresser is actually a pretty magical process.
Very often, I look for Vivian at Niu Niu Hair Salon without an actually knowing what I want to do with my hair. Sometimes I’ll just say ‘i want to cut and color, help me choose the color’. And she will just work on my hair while i read or play with my phone. That is how much I trust her.
The best bonus part for the great hair cutting and styling, is that the prices for the services are extremely value-for-money. I took some pictures of the hair makeover that day. It costed me a total of only $161 for a 3-hour service that included:
- Hair cut
- Scalp care lotion (add on)
- Spa treatment
- Colour (touch up roots)
The interior of the shop is has a modern look, clean and bright. It is also conveniently located within walking distance from Redhill mrt station. So getting there is a breeze.

This is another hairstyle that she did for me last year in October. The perm was also done by Vivian :)
If you have short hair, don’t fret! She is very good with short hair, my good friend has short hair and she also swears by Vivian’s haircut too!
