My meal today is so full of Kiiroitori! Heheh.
Kiiroitori (literally translated as yellow bird) is one of the popular characters of Rilakkuma series. Kiiroitori the smart yellow bird, is the friend of Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma bears.
A simple but fun and yummy Kiiroitori bento today as I have a long day ahead and wanted to sleep in a little more in the morning.
I must say I am quite proud of the fact that I actually managed to squeeze in time to make steamed cakes on top of the bento this morning!
For the bento, Kiiroitori character is made from scrambled eggs place on rice. The features were seaweed and carrot slice. The side dishes were broccoli, ketchup prawns, lettuce and steamed corn.
I will do an follow up recipe blog post on the steam cakes soon! The cakes are super cute, so easy to make! If you have been following my blog, you would know that I love making these Japanese steamed cakes (mushi-pan). :)
