Homemade Rilakkuma Chocolate Pancakes Bento! Â
It has been a while since I made breakfast bento. Since I had some yummy custard filling left in the fridge (used that for my bread buns), I thought it will be really nice to pair the custard with some homemade chocolate pancakes.
I then used my iron press to imprint the cute bear burn mark on the mini pancakes. To form the pancake batter, IÂ simply added some dark chocolate sauce into my pancake mix.
To ensure the small consistent size of the pancakes, I use a spoon (instead of a ladle) to scoop the batter onto the frypan and cooked the pancakes at low heat to prevent burning.Â
The side dishes were simple since this is a breakfast meal. They included some steamed corn, broccoli, hard boil egg, Rilakkuma mini sausages (bought in Japan), carrots, sweet snap peas and some sauteed truffle mushrooms.Â
Its mid-week! Gosh, time really flys! Have a great day everyone~

Can those imprints be bought online?

Hello :) No, I custom made from traditional store in Japan, they dont shipped overseas. I wrote to them to order, and had to pick up in Japan at their shop. But there are some other designs available on Rakuten JP. :)
