Baymax Bento!

Have you watched Big Hero 6 movie? Baymax is the key superhero in this latest Walt Disney animation film. An inflatable robot built by Tadashi to be a healthcare companion, he is adorable to the max!
I just had to make this Baymax Bento today after watching the movie last night.
Did you know that Baymax is actually based on a Marvel character of the same name?
To make Baymax, all I used was just Japanese short grain rice and seaweed. So simple and so fun. I purposely shape it to look like the cute action that Baymax does when he shows his palm and introduces himself.
A light bento today so I made tofu patties (super yum and so soft), sauteed french beans and a strawberry.
Recently I have fallen in love with this enamel box by Japanese maker Noda Horo. I love the white color and the perfect size! I bought a rectangular one and a round one back from Japan in my recent trip. Enamelware are long lasting and also keeps food fresh and germ free. They are a little heavier than the usual wooden or plastic containers, but I love them nonetheless.
