Arteastiq Valentine’s Day Menu

Arteastiq Boutique Tea Lounge has revamped their kitchen with a brand new menu this month. To kick things off, they are launching a special Valentine’s Day Menu on 14 February 2015. Some of the dishes will also become mainstays in their regular menu.

Expect light and flavourful dishes perfect for the ladies, and a more robust and meatier style for the gentlemen’s menu.

A total of 9 dishes for the couple at only $188++ per couple at Arteastiq. Reservations are required.

Aside from food, I also highly recommend their teas. An extensive tea menu with some 40 lovely tea selections (Flora, Fruit, Dessert, Chinese, Japanese and even Alchoholic Teas). One of their most popular tea is the Lychee Tea, which was really good. I love the fruity sweet notes of the lychee infused tea! Highly recommended!

I also tried a little of their ginger tea which had the right amounts of spicy kick and at the same time warms the tummy~ lovely for a cold day.

Ladies Affair

Roasted Sweet Potato and Rosemary Salad

A lovely combination of the roasted sweet potatoes, rosemary, capers, radish and meschun greens. A light start to the menu.

Crabcake Benedict

Who can resist perfectly poached eggs, Furthermore the eggs are served on brioche bread (my favourite!), maryland crabcake and generous serving of somked paprika hollandaise sauce. Delectable dish!

Intermezzo

A super refreshing pear tea granite to cleanse the palatte before moving on to the next 2 dishes.

Barley Risotto

Creamy barley risotto with saffron fennel broth, vegetables glaces and pecorino romano. This is one of my favourite item of the menu, feels so healthy but yet satisfying rich in flavours.

Osmanthus Creme Brulle

I love sweet endings to a meal, and dessert is a definite must-have especially for V-day. A nice crackling sound as I dip my spoon into the scorched creme brulle to enjoy the sweet velvety custard. yummy! The serving size was also quite generous.

Gentlemen’s Dinner

Cyperian Affair

Teasing your palatte with pan fried haloumi, walnuts, grapes, greek honey and arrugula. This was a salad item enjoyed by us that night.

Frikadel et Rosti

A hearty dish for the Man with chicken frikadel, sweet potato rosti, mustard, horseradish and brown sauce.

Intermezzo of Pear Tea Granita (same as ladies’ menu)

Duck Pancake

A very unique take on the well known peiking duck dish. Thin crepes wrapped with spiced duck confit and asian herbs; and with their in-house orange caramel sauce.

French Toast w Brie

Not just the usual french toast but french toast with brie fillings. I rather skip that ice cream but the french toast itself was good.
