This is one easy and super kawaii bento that anyone can make!
Why Cloud Bento? I love clouds~~ and am wishing for more clouds these days as the weather has become really warm and dry since.
Even with the short rain showers (very rare), the sun has been so glaring hot. I also read on the news that the dry spell will likely return to Singapore this year.
This is the time when I feel so happy when there is rain (hooray for our plants too) and when it is cloudy to shield the sun rays!
When I was a child, I always dream of sleeping and bouncing on clouds, I even told my mum that I will take a jar with me so that I can ‘catch’ a fluff of cloud inside the jar on our way to Genting Highlands (HAHA).
Today’s Cloud Bento is packed in my Noda Horo enamelware white bento box that I bought in Japan. Good news is that you can now get this in Singapore, I saw that Tokyu Hands is retailing the box (I think at $20).
The Cloud characters were made from Japanese rice. Just tighten using cling wrap then shape out the fluff scallop edges. The features were made from pink egg sheet and seaweed.
The side dishes included sauteed vegetables and chicken meatballs with shiitake mushrooms.

I luv cloud too,because sometimes cloud can form various shapes^^
