Winnie the Pooh Pancakes and Huiji Honey

Winnie the Pooh pancakes with lots of Huiji Honey! :D

I love my pancakes with lots of honey or maple syrup. Are you like me too?

I had quite a night with my foodie friends last night but was unfortunately feeling quite under the weather as my migraine hit me, so I decided to make something easy this morning.

This is when cooking tools like this Winnie the Pooh pancake pan becomes really useful and such a time saver.

I got my Winnie the Pooh pancake pan (see blog post on this) from Kinokuniya bookstore. It also comes with a small recipe booklet which is so awesome.

I love the end result of the Winnie the Pooh embossed print on the pancake.

Paired my Winnie the Pooh pancakes with sides including a flora shape sunny side up, and a small salad.

I also made mini pancakes with some simple pancake art.

Being the sweet tooth me, I love my pancakes with lots of honey. yummy!!

Plus I am loving the new packaging for Huiji Honey.

The unique part of newly packaged Huiji honey is that it’s packed in a specially designed bottle to prevent spillage and wastage of honey – it’s an anti-dripped cap.

Due to its sticky nature, handling honey can be a messy affair.  With the special cap design, it ensures each squeeze of the bottle leaves no residue on the cap and allows one to squeeze out the exact amount of honey they need.

I also learnt a useful tip online that one can reuse the bottle to dispense other ingredients such as oil or even sauces.

Huiji honey is 100% naturalconcentrated honey from China and very reasonably priced. I got them from a local supermarket. This new packagin for the honey would also be very useful when making honey bacon and honey coated chicken wings etc.

Huiji Honey can be purchased from major supermarkets including NTUC Fairprice, NTUC Fairprice Finest, NTUC Fairprice Xtra, Giant, OG, Prime Supermarket, Sheng Siong & Leading Medical Halls too.

Huiji Honey is retailing at $4.95 (500g) and $8.95 (1kg).
