Kimiyo-G Beauty is opening their second outlet!

This time nearer to the city dwellers, with a prime location at The Central Clarke Quay. (Yay! nearer to me now!)

My first visit was to their outlet located at Serangoon (located opposite NEX).

Decked up in a clean modern setting, Kimiyo-G Beauty offers a one stop option for busy folks who can get their nails done, facial, massages and even hair removal at their beauty salon and spa. Using nail products made in Japan and Korea, in-house products also from Japan, and beauty technology imported from Japan, the owner Grace shared with me her high expectations in ensuring the quality of the treatments offered at Kimiyo-G Spa.

She personally heads to Japan to check out the latest beauty technologies and also in formulating her own in-house facial products in Japan.

Both of us clicked immediately, being avid fans of Japan and Japanese products :D

I was very pleased with my nail art (gel nails) and it lasted me past 2 weeks, almost 3! Amazing…

If you have done gel nails before then you would probably know that gel nails last very long and these nail art even could withstand my cooking and house chores. Not bad ;D

For my nail experience at Kimiyo-G Beauty, we went with a design that was sweet and minimalistic, and in my favourite colour white!

And we added some crystal bows (too pretty la)

After making myself prettier and happier with my nails, I tried out their laser hair removal for underarm.

I was actually quite worried about the pain. I recalled some 7-8 years ago when I tried IPL at another salon and the process was quite painful.

They assured me that the session will be painless, and it was true. And it was so fast~ done in like 5-10mins.

The hair removal and laser lights would help to kill the hair follicles  reduce ingrowth and lighten the darkened patches of skin at the underarm areas.

I will probably have to return for a few more sessions to see a more obvious effect.

The best part, aside the nails, was to be presented this set of facial products. (mius the Hello Kitty)

Frankly I am not really someone to get very excited about facial products. Being a low maintenance girl, I need my facial routine to be simple. And more importantly, does not make me feel all sticky and oily in our tropical weather.

For the first time, I fell in love with this range of facial products under Kimiyo-G.

These are all in house specially formulated Made-in-Japan facial products including their Lemongrass cleanser, Hot-spring toner, Morning Dew moisturiser and Rebirth Peeling mask. 

Though sceptical at first, I was convinced the moment I tried it back at home.

Kimiyo-G facial products made my skin feel like a baby, also brighter and more radiant. Not only that, I really got none of that stickiness or oiliness after applying the products.

Very light, really like using spring water on my face. I also loved the lemongrass scent in the cleanser.

They are so good that I feel 有一点不舍得用。Ahh… time to take a selfie (feeling vain :P)
