Jackie Bear Pancakes for Thursday!
Feeling a little lazy this morning, so pancakes to the rescue. Jackie the Bear character comes from a popular The Bear School picture book that gained huge following in Japan.
To make these cute Jackie Bear pancakes, I used my Jackie Bear pancake pan bought from Kinokuniya. They are perfect and quick way to make kawaii food.
For the pancakes, I made two flavours of original vanilla and the other of chocolate.
Used valrhona cocoa powder for the batter, oh so yummy! Love the intense cocoa taste.
This way, I will be able to make both tones of the pancakes, reminds me a little of the Twin Bears characters too.
To complete my Jackie Bear pancakes meal, I prepared a small side salad, sausage and some scrambled eggs.
Serve the pancakes with some maple syrup and the cute meal is complete!
Made quite a few pancakes so packed some as breakfast for my hubby to bring to work too.
