This will likely be my last Halloween bento for this year.
Seems like my Halloween creations this year are most centered around the cute Boo Ghost.
A simple mushroom pasta bento I made for my hubby today.
My supermarket ran out of quail eggs -___- so I had to use mashed potatoes to make the mini Boo Ghosts.
At the side, I have some vegetables, pressed tofu square which I cut and carve out RIP to mimic a tombstone, and a Frankenstein made from mini kiwi.
The baby kiwi fruit, is known as kiwees or officially as Actinidia Arguta. These tiny fruits resemble kiwifruit and have other common names including Hardy Kiwi, Kiwi Berry, Baby Kiwi, Cocktail Kiwi etc. They can be eaten whole without peeling.
The other decorations included some black and white ribbon pasta (bought from Mustafa) and spider pasta, plus my Halloween theme bento picks.
I hope you like my Halloween Pasta Bento!
My Halloween tomorrow will be spent working unfortunately.
But here is wishingan awesome weekend.
The aluminium bento box is from Japan but there are similar ones sold at Bento & co now.
The Halloween bento pick used today is part of a set from Bento USA.
The wooden tray is from IKEA.
