Using my Cornell Hello Kitty Sandwich Maker to make super cute Hello Kitty pancakes!

Yes!! You can use this sandwich maker to make super cute Hello Kitty pancakes too! ~ The pancakes were so soft and fluffy; and toasted to perfection!

I love how Cornell latest Hello Kitty sandwich maker has gotten a revamp. It also features cool touch housing as well as non-stick coating plate for easy cleaning.

Because of the great non-stick coating, you can really be versatile in using this Sandwich Maker, like to make pancakes!

The pancakes are imprinted with the Hello Kitty motif, eating pancakes has never been this fun!

Plus it is really quite fail-proof :D

Simply pour the pancake batter into your sandwich maker, filling in the hello kitty toast square till the edges. Cover and toast for 2-3mins until it browns nicely and the pancakes fluffs up!

There is really no stress in using this Cornell Hello Kitty Sandwich Maker. There are light indicators to inform you when the machine is ready for use.

You can also do a little check and if it is not brown enough, just toast it for another 30secs-1min.

Would you like recipe? Here are the ingredients for the pancakes.

Recipe for Hello Kitty Pancakes

• flour 140g (sieved)
• baking powder 1 tsp
• egg medium size 1
• buttermilk 140g
• sugar 3 tbsp
• pinch of salt
• salad oil (or normal vegetable cooking oil) 2 tsp

Add in the wet ingredients, followed by the dry ingredients. After mixing all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, let it rest at room temp for at least 10mins before using the pancake batter.

The imprint of the Hello Kitty is also nice and distinct on both bread and pancakes.

Today is Hello Kitty Sandwich Bento!

The design on the sandwich is made of cream cheese, a fun Hello Kitty bento for breakfast.

Packed this bento in my Black+Blum bento box from Bento&co.

To pair my Hello Kitty Sandwich, I packed fresh fruits at the side including Zespri kiwi and strawberries. I also added steamed corn on the cob.

For Hello Kitty Sandwich cream cheese design, I added food coloring and some charcoal food powder (for black colour).

First, I drew the desired design on a sheet of paper. I then placed parchment paper over and traced out the design. I  followed the outlines and cut the parchment paper.

After spread a layer of cream cheese (un-colored) on the center area of the sandwich, I placed the parchment paper cut out on top. And spread a layer of the cream cheese (colored light blue) over. After peeling away the parchment paper, I get a nice clean stencil design.

I then slowly pipe and added in the colors for Hello Kitty and the pink hearts.
