My weekend was so busy! So this morning, I decided to not ‘kill’ myself and made a simple nori art (seaweed art) bento.Â
Â
My hubby is coming home today from a trip! Yeay~~ so I wanted to make a theme to welcome him home :) Here is Mickey and Minnie Kissing Bento! I hope you like this bento. Could be a great idea for Valentine’s bento too if you are planning on making a special lunch for your loved one.
Â
Similar to my earlier seaweed artwork cutting bento, which I have explained and showed pictures of how the steps are done in several earlier postings (Refer one of the earlier tutorial here).Â
In this bento, I created this Mickey and Minnie seaweed artwork cutting the same way.Â
Sorry that the seaweed look a little old. :P It was a little soft, but I decided to use it anyway for the cutting.

The side dishes were tomato sauteed prawns, roasted pumpkin, nanohana, lettuce, japanese mikan which I just bought over the weekend at the Japan Fruit Fair held at Liang Court.Â
I also bought pears but the bento was too full for me to squeeze more fruits in. The fruits are so so sweet!
