Little Miss Bento

Following my homemade Milo Tiger Bread Buns (recipe here) yesterday, here is a Tiger theme bento. This was my lunch yesterday. 

This Friday is my mother’s birthday and her Chinese zodiac is tiger~ :) So I decided to make a Tiger bento too!

This is also the first time that I used cooked carrot (diced up) to color the rice orange, pretty awesome. What I did was to slice carrrot thinly, steamed, and then diced up into very small tiny bits and mixed it with rice. 

The side dishes were baked salmon, baked mushrooms with sauce, sauteed carrot and baby french beans, steamed sweet corn, strawberry, tiger kamaboko and lettuce. 

The tiger kamaboko (Japanese fish cake) is cool right? :) I bought them at Isetan Scotts supermarket. They also have dragon character.

昨日可愛いトラさんのパンを紹介しました。そして、今日はトラさんのキャラ弁をUPしました。これは昨日の昼ごはんですよ。

今週は母のお誕生日でから、トラさんのキャラ弁を作りました。母は１９４９年に生まれました。その年は中国の寅年です。

にんじんを使って、オレンジのおにぎりを作りました。おかずは：焼き鮭、野菜炒め、焼き椎茸、蒸しコーン、イチゴ、レタス。

トラさんの蒲鉾は伊勢丹スーパーマーケットでを買ったんです。可愛いね。
